ABS Consulting Brings Training to You...At a Discount
Budgets are still tight and travel is limited. Why not bring the trainer to you? ABS Consulting offers options that can mean a discount for your organization while keeping your employees current on industry standards, best practices and regulatory issues.
Discount options available for private, onsite training include:
- Low Risk Discount – Sample our training firsthand by registering and attending one of our public course offerings. If your company contracts for a private course (of the same type) within six months after you attend, we will credit the cost of the public course registration fee against the private course invoice (the credit will be prorated proportionally to the length of the contracted course compared with the length of the course you attended).
- Sale Week Discount – When requesting a quotation for a private course, ask about Sale Week opportunities. Sale Weeks are open dates on our instructors' calendars that are coming up soon. We offer a 10 percent discount off the course fee if you contract for a course during a Sale Week.
- Credit Card Payment Discount – If your company will accept our standard terms and conditions and pay for the private course with a credit card, we offer a 5 percent discount off the course fee.

ABS Consulting Representatives to Discuss Process Safety Regulations and Improvements at 2010 International Symposium
Members of the ABS Consulting US Process Industries team will present during the 2010 Mary Kay O'Connor Process Safety Center International Symposium October 26-28 in College Station, Texas.
Steve Arendt, Vice President, US Process Industries, will discuss Improving Process Safety Regulations – Industry Suggestions. Topics include compliance and enforcement strategies, ways to make requirements more economical without sacrificing safety and systematic ways to address RAGAGEP. His discussion is a follow-up to a panel discussion held during the Sixth Global Congress on Process Safety in March in San Antonio, Texas.
Arendt, San Burnett, Rick Curtis, Ken Hanchey and Dr. Herzl Marouni will present Practical Steps to Improve Process Safety Culture – Case Studies and Lessons from the Process Industry. In this session, the team will present examples results, lessons learned and remedies for typical culture weaknesses that led to persistent performance issues at 20 companies.
The event – Beyond Regulatory Compliance, Making Safety Second Nature – is presented by the Mary Kay O'Connor Process Safety Center. During the symposium, experts from around the world share the latest information on the hottest topics aimed at making the process industry safer.
