ABS Consulting Administers Maritime Security & Incident Management Master Class

David Eydes and Johnny Franklin of ABS Consulting served as master class leaders for the Maritime Security & Incident Management course on 7 July 2009 held in London on behalf of SMi Conferences.
The half-day master class provided an update on the latest threats and challenges facing the maritime industry. During the course, attendees enhanced their security knowledge through greater maritime domain awareness, looked beyond the ISPS Code and developed an understanding of improving resilience to a port’s trade in the event of an incident as well as how to improve a port’s ability to resume trade in the aftermath of a serious incident. The course provided an opportunity for attendees to share experiences with peers and discuss how to increase their maritime awareness.
David Eydes will be presenting this course again at the Informa Maritime Security Conference 2009 in the Ledra Marriott Hotel, Athens 14 - 15 October 2009.
