FACET3D™ Software

FACET3D (Facility Assessment and Consequence Evaluation Tool) is a general purpose platform that enables rapid analysis of blast effects on individual structures or multiple-facility sites. ABS Consulting developed FACET3D to facilitate assessment of structures and sites for extreme loading scenarios.

Originally developed for analyzing federal structures, FACET3D has been used to model more than 100 federal facilities. The customizable software was designed by engineers and security specialists with practical experience performing security vulnerability assessments.

The platform allows multiple types of calculations in 3D, including blast loads, quantitative risk assessments (QRAs), thermal hazards from jet and pool fires, and chemical dispersions.
