Howard S. Friedman, Ph.D.
Global TSCA Program Manager
Hewlett-Packard Company
Dr. Friedman is the Global TSCA Program Manager for the Hewlett-Packard Company, responsible for its worldwide TSCA compliance. He has a Ph.D. in organic chemistry.
Before joining Hewlett-Packard, he worked as a senior research chemist for companies such as Goodyear Tire and Rubber, Ferro Corporation, and Uniroyal Chemical Company. He also had responsibility for all of the chemical regulations, including TSCA, relating to these companies' businesses.
Dr. Friedman holds four United States patents in chemical processes relating to the inhibition of polymerization in vinyl aromatic substances. He also has a Senior Professional Certificate in industrial hygiene.
