Mr. Watson has over 35 years of trial and litigation experience in dozens of cases throughout the country involving mass toxic tort claims, and regulatory program challenges involving air, water, waste and Superfund. He is particularly versed in the Clean Air Act, Superfund and solid and hazardous waste matters. He has specialized in defending companies in complex commercial litigation including mass toxic tort cases and class action lawsuits.

Mr. Watson has served as chair of both Colorado state and national bar association environmental sections. He has authored numerous articles on environmental law and complex commercial litigation, has taught trial advocacy at the National Institute for Trial Advocacy for 10 years, and has taught environemntal law at the university level.
