Tom Williams is a senior risk/reliability engineer, project manager, course developer, and instructor with ABS Consulting. For the past 17 years, he has specialized in leading, managing, and documenting process hazard analyses (PHAs) for the chemical, petrochemical, refining, ammonia, and pharmaceutical industries. Mr. Williams has also helped numerous clients comply with regulatory requirements related to process safety management (PSM) and risk management programs (RMPs). He is an expert in the development of operating and maintenance procedures to address safety/reliability risks, has coauthored several articles on this subject, and co-developed ABS Consulting's related courses in effective procedure writing. He also served as project manager for the development of ABS Consulting's world-class HazardReview LEADER software and continues to head up the LEADER technical support, maintenance, and training services.
