ABS Maritime Services Hellas LLC offers a wide range of training and consulting services to assist ship owners in improving the safety and efficiency of their marine operations. We understand the need to go beyond compliance to stay ahead in today's operating environment and have developed training, tools and programs to meet your needs.

Management Systems Consulting

The keystones of a successful operation are effective Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental Management Systems, which provide the mechanism for continuous improvement in operational safety and efficiency. These keystones provide tangible audit criteria for regulators, clients and stakeholders, and are demonstrable measures of an organization’s corporate social responsibility.

ABS Maritime Services Hellas LLC assists ship owners assess the effectiveness of their HSQE systems and how they meet external requirements such as OCIMF’s Tanker Management Self Assessment. We also help develop integrated systems and provide specific tools and methodologies for measurement and continuous improvement.

Maritime Training in Greece

  • Management Systems: ISPS, ISM, HSQE, TMSA

  • Classification Related: Classification and Statutory Requirements, Hull Inspection and Repair, LNG Surveyor Training, Coating System Evaluation, NDT Examination, Gaugings for Hull Surveys

  • Risk: Introduction to Risk Management, Risk-Based Maintenance, Root Cause Analysis, Incident Investigation, Safety Profiling

  • Speciality: Ship Emergency Response, Cold Weather Operations, Shaft Optimization, Ship Design, Fatigue and Fracture, Ballast Water Management

Course Language

The presentation language for each course is outlined in each individual flyer. All course handouts and course documentation are in English.

Certification

All delegates will be awarded a certificate verifying course attendance. Successful delegates to IRCA or IEMA registered courses will be awarded a certificate that will allow them to register with the respective organization.

Liability

Courses are subject to cancellation and course dates are subject to change. Under these circumstances, our liability is limited to reimbursement of tuition only.

Cancellation

No cancellation fee will apply for cancellations received in writing 10 business days prior to the course date. In any other case, a 50% cancellation fee will be charged. The same policy applies if the delegate does not attend for the start of the course.

Course Fees

Course fees include all manuals and course materials. For some courses, lunch and/or refreshments are also provided. Fees do not include accommodations or transportation. ABS Maritime Services Hellas reserves the right to change course fees at any time.
