The Inside Building Model calculates the effects of a release in a confined space. This model allows the user to quickly describe a building, lay out floors within that building, and designate rooms on each floor at the location of a terrorist device or attack. MIDAS-AT then provides hazard prediction within each room on each floor. Additionally, MIDAS-AT displays the effects of leakage outside the building from an interior release of terrorist NBC weapons showing the downwind hazard effects.

Important buildings can be created in advance and placed in MIDAS-AT’s database for use during an emergency or during training. Our Inside Building Model addresses such diverse building types as mass transit areas, office buildings, homes, malls, apartments and condos and hospitals.
