Steve Arendt of ABS Consulting Receives the 2006 Merit Award from the Mary Kay O'Connor Process Safety Center

During the 2006 International Symposium held on October 24-25, 2006, in College Station, Texas, Steve Arendt, Vice President, Organizational Performance Assurance, ABS Consulting, was the recipient of the 2006 Merit Award from the Mary Kay O’Connor Process Safety Center.

The Merit Award recognizes an individual who has made significant contributions to the advancement of education, research, and service activities related to process safety concepts and/or technologies. The contributions or accomplishments leading to the annual Merit Award is not always associated with the Center but usually complements the Center’s central theme, such as "Making Safety Second Nature." In establishing the Merit Award, a Steering Committee underscores the importance of promoting and recognizing significant contributions and accomplishments of practitioners and researchers worldwide.
