ABS Consulting Writes Dust Explosion Prevention and the Importance of Housekeeping

Wilmington, DE - The September 2004 issue of Process Safety Progress includes a paper entitled Dust Explosion Prevention and the Importance of Housekeeping, written by Walter L. Frank, PE of ABS Consulting's Operational Risk and Performance Consulting Division. The paper describes recent major dust explosions with a particular focus related to an often underestimated aspect of facility operations - housekeeping.

Process Safety Progress is a quarterly publication of the Safety and Health Division of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE). This periodical provides practical process safety information for engineering professionals in the chemical process industries. Its focus is on chemical and hydrocarbon process safety, loss prevention and health.
