OSHA Combustible Dust National Emphasis Program (NEP)
OSHA reissued the Combustible Dust National Emphasis Program (NEP) in 2008, incorporating applicable NFPA and ASTM standards. The regulatory mandate is for each area office to annually inspect facilities that create or handle combustible dusts that may pose a deflagration, fire, and/or explosion hazard.
