Fleet Wide Integrity Management

ABS consulting provides a comprehensive engineering support service that is bundled, resourced and fully integrated, for your one asset or your fleet of assets, to ensure fleet wide integrity management.

The aim of this program is to ensure that a knowledgeable and responsive support service is continually available to both engineering and operational personnel, particularly in the event that an asset experiences an incident that threatens its integrity.

A key deliverable is establishing a process where up-to-date information on each asset is assured. Centrally collating, checking, amending and storing key reference information establish a single-point and current information source.

ABS Consulting’s Fleet Engineering Management Program is applicable to all upstream assets. These services encompass:

  • Assuring a systematic document control process

  • Assuring IRM processes with updated integrity impact analysis

  • Assuring accuracy of structural models to as-operating condition

  • Change control support

  • An underpinning mechanism to support implementation of RCM and RBI

  • Full suite of engineering analysis capability

  • 24/7 emergency response and damage assessment capability

  • Stability management assurance

Resources are based locally to provide the first point coordination and other resources can be based globally as needed, all supported through our Houston based Asset Integrity Management center of excellence.

Structural Analysis
ABS SafeHull and other industry developed software is utilized for ship shaped assets and AQWA/ASAS and SACS for non-ship shaped assets including semi-submersibles, can be utilize as structural analysis tools.

Motion Analysis
Models for FPSOs, Semis, etc. can be developed using AQWA suite of hydrodynamic software, which enable linear frequency domain and time domain motion analysis.

Mooring Analysis
Models for FPSOs, Semis, etc. can be created using general purpose, nonlinear 3D FE software package for static and time-domain dynamic analysis of mooring lines, and flexible and rigid risers.

Stability Analysis
HECSALV and SEASAFE models can be developed to enhance the Emergency Response Service capability.
